- Neu anmelden.

Was passiert mit meinem Abonnement?
Was tun?
Oktober 2026?

V-Locker becomes VeloGrid
The platform gets a new future.
The V-Locker platform is being replaced step by step. VeloGrid AG takes over the software platform and continues the digital service for the bike parking facilities.
Your existing account, your bookings and your subscriptions will be kept. You will increasingly see the VeloGrid name and look. Payments and new invoices will be handled by VeloGrid AG from now on.
What changes for you?
- Log in again. After the maintenance you may have to log in again in your current app or the web app. Your account, your password and signing in with Apple or Google remain unchanged.
- Confirm the terms and privacy policy. When you first open the app after the maintenance, you switch on two toggles: one for the terms and conditions (AGB), one for the privacy policy of VeloGrid AG. Without this confirmation, no new bookings are possible. You can still collect your bike and end a running booking.
- Re-enter your payment details with your next payment. Because payments now go to VeloGrid AG, you enter your payment details again when you next pay. You don't need to set anything up beforehand.
Good to know: Earlier invoices will no longer be available after the switch. New invoices are issued by VeloGrid AG.
The switch happens in several steps: first the technical platform is migrated, then the new VeloGrid apps for iPhone and Android and a new web app follow. Until then, keep using your installed V-Locker app or the web app at live.v-locker.ch. We will let you know when you need to switch.
Current: What happens next?
As of 21 October 2026 · Preparing the platform switch
- Tuesday, 27 October 2026, 11:00–14:00 (Swiss local time) Planned maintenance. During this window all facilities cannot be operated via the app or web app: no new bookings, no payments, no opening or closing.
- After the maintenance You use your current app as usual. You may have to log in again and confirm the terms and privacy policy of VeloGrid AG. Once the service is running again, the maintenance notice in the app disappears. We won't send a separate completion message, to keep the number of notifications low.
- Then: new VeloGrid apps We are preparing them for release. You don't need to download anything right now. You'll receive the download links and all information about switching in good time.
Need your bike during the maintenance? Please collect it before 11:00. Otherwise it can stay in its compartment. Opening it via the app is not possible during this time. If the maintenance runs longer than planned, we will inform you on this page as well as by push notification and email.

Maintenance and access to your bike
When is the service unavailable?
On Tuesday, 27 October 2026, from 11:00 to 14:00 Swiss local time, during planned maintenance. It affects all facilities that use the service.
Can I park or collect my bike during the maintenance?
No. During the maintenance you can neither open nor close the facilities, not even in urgent cases. Please plan parking or collecting outside this window. If you might need your bike, collect it before 11:00.
Do I have to take my bike out before the maintenance?
Only if you need it during the maintenance. Otherwise your bike can stay in its closed compartment. Opening it via the app is not possible during this time.
What happens to my running booking, and what does it cost?
Your booking remains in place. Existing bookings have no fixed end time. The usual booking or subscription fees also apply during the maintenance. There are no additional fees and no reduction for the maintenance period.
Can I book or pay during the maintenance?
No. New bookings and payments are only possible before or after the maintenance window.
What happens if a door is still open before the maintenance starts?
Before the maintenance starts, we check that the doors are closed.
How do I know the service is available again?
The maintenance notice no longer appears and you can use the service again. We won't send a separate completion message.
Account and login
Who is VeloGrid AG and why is the platform being switched?
VeloGrid AG takes over the former V-Locker software platform and the digital service for accounts, bookings, subscriptions and payments. The switch creates the basis for continued operation, new VeloGrid apps and future improvements.
Do I have to register again?
No. Use your existing account. Account, account settings, booking history, running bookings and subscriptions are carried over. The only exception is earlier invoices, which will no longer be available after the switch.
What happens to my subscription?
Subscriptions last 30 days and do not renew automatically. Your existing subscription is carried over with the same price and the same term.
Do my password and signing in with Apple or Google still work?
Yes. You can keep using your current password and sign in with your Apple ID or Google account.
Can I log in with SwissPass?
Logging in with SwissPass is temporarily unavailable. Write to us via the contact form so we can temporarily set up your account for email login. SwissPass login is expected to be available again before the end of October.
What if I can't log in after the maintenance?
Use the same login method as before. If you forgot your password, reset it as usual with the password reset function. If that doesn't work, use the contact form.
My booking or subscription isn't shown. What should I do?
Check that you are logged in with the same account and the same login method as before. Your existing bookings and subscriptions are kept during the switch.
Do the rules for bookings, cancellations or access change?
No. The current booking and cancellation rules, opening hours and access restrictions stay the same.
Apps and using the browser
Can I keep using my V-Locker app?
Yes, for now you can keep using the installed V-Locker app, also on Android. It is currently not available for download in the Google Play Store. If you don't have the app or it doesn't work, open live.v-locker.ch in your phone's browser.
The old V-Locker app will not stay in operation permanently. We will tell you in good time when you need to switch.
What can I do with the web app?
You can book, pay, and open and close the facilities.
Why does the web app need my location?
For safety reasons you must be standing in front of the facility when opening and closing. You are responsible for making sure no bike parts or foreign objects block the door and that it is fully closed. Location access helps verify that you are nearby.
I can't open or close the facility, or the app says “too far away”
- Stand directly in front of the facility, close to the door.
- Allow location access in your browser or app settings and check that location services are enabled on your phone.
- Close the app completely and reopen it. In the web app, reload the page.
- If the problem persists, use the support contact for your facility shown in the app.
When will the new VeloGrid apps be available, and do I need to do anything now?
We are preparing the apps for iPhone and Android and the new web app for release. You don't need to download anything right now. Once they are available, you'll receive the download links and instructions for switching.
Do existing QR codes and saved links still work?
Yes, for now they remain usable. The new VeloGrid apps will have new download links and web addresses. We will provide them as soon as they are available.
Your data and the new terms
Why do I have to confirm new terms and a new privacy policy?
The service moves to a new company: VeloGrid AG becomes your contract partner. Therefore the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of VeloGrid AG apply. The rules remain essentially the same.
What changes in the terms and conditions of 26 October 2026?
Mainly the company behind the operation: VeloGrid AG becomes your contract partner. The terms of the contract stay the same. You can read the terms and conditions at www.velogrid.app/legal/.
When and how will I be asked to confirm?
When you open the app for the first time after the maintenance. You switch on one toggle for the terms and conditions and one for the privacy policy. The links to read them are shown at that point.
What happens if I don't agree?
Without agreeing to both, nothing new is possible: no new bookings and no new subscriptions. Within your running booking you can open the facility, collect your bike and end the booking.
If you don't agree within 90 days of the switch on 27 October 2026, we will delete your account and personal data. Since subscriptions last only 30 days and do not renew, they will have expired by then. If a booking still exists then, we check the facility first:
- Compartment empty: We cancel the booking and delete your account.
- Your bike is still in the compartment: We cancel and delete nothing. To protect our legitimate interests, your account remains in this case. Collect your bike or get in touch via the form.
Will my account data be carried over?
Yes. Account data, settings, booking history, running bookings and subscriptions are carried over. Earlier invoices will no longer be available after the switch.
Payments and invoices
Does the way I pay change?
The existing payment methods remain available. Payments will now go to VeloGrid AG, though. Therefore you enter your payment details again with your next payment. You don't need to set anything up beforehand.
VeloGrid does not store payment details. Our payment provider does this in line with the security standards of the payment card industry (PCI).
What happens to my remaining free hours?
They are carried over in full. Your hours balance stays unchanged.
What should I do if a payment fails or is charged twice?
Contact support: via the contact form or the support contact for your facility in the app.
Will my invoices change? Can I get old invoices?
New invoices are issued by VeloGrid AG. Earlier invoices will no longer be available after the switch, and we cannot provide copies either.
Can VeloGrid process refunds or complaints about earlier payments?
No. VeloGrid AG cannot process refunds or payment complaints for payments made to the former company. It is no longer operational.
